FIRST TIME OUT. This outfit post is a post full of “first times”. This is actually the first time I show you guys my new haircut in an outfit post. It has already been a very long time since the hair dresser cut 10 centimeters off of my hair, which made me realize I haven’t been taking outfit pics in ages. Besides the new hair, this is the first time I’m wearing my Weekday top I bought last year with the gorgeous Marloes (remember Lo?), and this is also the very first time I took my Dune heels out for a walk! Which are like heaven by the way. And last but definitely not least, this is the first time I took my Alexander Wang Diego baby out of the house.
That moment full of “first times” needed to be captured, right?!

ALEXANDER WANG. This is my first designer bag ever, so imagine how happy I was when I bought this Alexander Wang dream bag. Yes indeed, I was (and still am) the happiest girl on earth. The leather, the studs, the rose golden colour, the straps, everything is absolutely perfect. There’s no doubt I will carry this bag with me whenever I can. As I said on Twitter, I actually wanted to take the Diego bag to bed and use it as a cuddle toy. That’s how much I love it already. There’s no other bag in my closet that can beat my new baby Alexander Wang. This definitely compensates all the stress I’ve been having lately.

Oh and by the way, yesterday I handed in my last report I had to make in a group, which means school is almost over! Can I have a yay for that?! Only a few individual products and exams (no yay for that), and I’m done for this school year. I’ll try to revive the blog again upcoming weeks and try to blog more than once a month. Shame on me.

DUNE pumps via Sarenza, H&M trend bomber

TIMELESS. Even though this bomber may not as timeless as the pumps, this will be one of those pieces in my closet you will see me wearing for a very, very long time. I do not believe in love at first sight, except when it comes to clothing. This, this was love at first sight. The time I have been looking for a bomber jacket goes way back into my high school years (which has not been that long though, I guess two and a half years?). All the bombers I bumped into were 1. way too expensive, or 2. not perfect enough. At first, I was looking for a more basic one, like the current Filippa K bomber jacket, but like I told you, when I saw this one it was just love at first sight.
Not only the bomber jacket, but also these pumps are the most timeless pumps you can ever imagine. I own all kinds of heels (not enough, obsviously) but I didn’t even own a pair of black leather pointy heels. Thanks to Rowana broke, poor, student (me) was able to get them for less yeay. If these would have a red sole, they would be even more perfect.

(My hair does look kind of long in the pictures, which is weird cause I don’t think it’s actually this long, or is it just me?!)

NEW HAIR. My hair is like this for two months now, but now I finally got the nerves to show you guys. The first couple of days when the hair dresser cut my hair off I didn’t went outside without a pony tail in my hair. You really could tell I did not like it at all. Now, two weeks later, I’m kind of used to it, but still I miss my longer hair. It had to happen though, my hair had become way too long and I barely couldn’t see the dip dye/ombre part of my hair anymore (which is why I re-dyed it ombre again). Now there’s 10 cm off of my hair it just feels weird. Really weird. My hair hasn’t been this short in ages I guess. It’s definitely no disaster though. Luckily, my hair grows really fast and I bet my hair will be long again in two or three months from now.

OONA PR

PRESS DAYS It’s the press day time of the year! This year I visited only two press days due to lack of time (blame school). Thanks to Marloes I got my invitation to the PUUR PR press day, where she is an intern currently. And thank you Lo for this, I had a really great time chatting with you and checking out the new collections. My all time favourite were the Amator knits with such great texture. They felt so cozy that I wanted to sleep on it. Also PUUR PRs interior was almost breath taking. Exactly how I want my future home to be.

Oona’s brands always surprise me. Eastpack, for instance. Everyone knows the basic backpacks. I used to own a green one during my first two years of high school, and now I bumped into this Eastpack x Raf Simons striped backpack (first picture) and I fell in loooove. Also Essentiel surprised me with their accessories and pink leopard slip ons. I felt like taking them with me right away. My favourite collection at this PR agency was the River Island Design Forum collection by Georgine Hardinge. The patterns inspired by architecture and 3D combined with the loose silhouettes are a-ma-zing.

FREE RUN. Yesssss, this was my first walk with the amazing, super comfy Nike Free Run +3 sneakers, which was like one week ago. I’ve been craving them since I first saw them and I actually wanted to use them for running but they are way too gorgeous for just running. Soft pink is almost my least favourite colour, but in this design it actually does work out. This is a perfect example of an outfit with my favourite items: favourite leather jacket, favourite sneakers, favourite sweater and favourite beanie.

CREAM PR DIY EVENT. Two weeks ago I went to the Cream PR DIY event where I got to see all my gorgeous friends/fellow bloggers again. As the event’s name already’s saying, it was a very interactive afternoon. First our polaroids were taken and then we were divided into groups. Then I got to wear the most amazing shoes by, probably, the most inspiring and most awesome designer in the Netherlands: Winde Rienstra, we got to make our own Fashionology necklace and customize our Van Haren heels with all kinds of things. Also we got to see the new sunglasses collection by Hans Anders and the new Kiboots collection. Besides that we also had the opportunity to style a complete look using garments by all kind of brands like 2LOVETONYCOHEN, Summum Woman and Mink Pink.

NIKE Free Run 3+ sneakers

FREE RUN. I think when the mail man came to drop by these extremely comfy beauties, I felt such excitement. That hasn’t happened in a very verrrrrrry long time all those times the mail man stopped by. I immediately tore the box apart (which wasn’t very easy), and put them on as quickly as I could. Then I ran around the house and it felt like heaven was on my feet. So light, so flexible, so pretty, so easy to combine. Such a great design and such great new techniques. These are all the reasons why these are definitely my new favourite sneakers.

AMSTERDAM. “Let’s go to Amsterdam and take photos for our portfolio”, she said. Oh yes, we had a great day except for the freaking snow. What’s up with the weather nowadays?! What greenhouse effect is everyone talking about? It freaking snows, when it’s supposed to be 10+ C. We just want the sun to appear… Because of the snow I randomly decided to get myself a new cap to protect my hair against the shitty snow. Best excuse ever to buy something you don’t actually need.

IPHONE HOES sleeve

SMART PHONES. Nowadays almost every human being owns a smart phone. We can’t live without them and we use it for everything we can imagine. Grocery shopping, as a compass, to see how many calories you’ve burnt during your work out and so on. I personally always have my phone with me, and sometimes a day comes when I simply forget to take my phone with me. This means no music, not talking to friends outside school, no Facebook (yes I’m a Facebook addict) and no Instagram (and yes, I’m an Instagram addict too). So what happens when your phone breaks? I would die. I don’t want my phone to break, ever. That’s why I’m extremely happy with this Knomo Leather iPhone 5 sleeve in pink! It protects my phone from the keys in my bag, it fits perfectly and leather just feels good. Period.
