Tear effect
Maybe you will think what a Tear effect is. Well i have learnt it from Kelly, but she stopped with webdesign which is very sad.
Well, because you dont know what it is, im going to show you what you're going to learn if you follow this tutorial:
#001 Okay begin with a picture you like. It doesnt matter which one. I choose for this one:
(Ctrl+V is not the key to paste something on a file in paint shop pro if you didnt know, it's ctrl+L)
Okay paste it on a new file in paint shop pro. If you need to crop it, than crop it, but you dont need exactly the same size. If you pasted it, you have to choose for the Freehand Selction. If you just downloaded paint shop pro you have to click on the selection tool, and click on the right arrow, then you can choose the Freehand Selection. You're not ready yet to begin, you have to turn it to these settings:
and then you kan select the picture. When you're back at the beginning click on the right mouse button.
If you're done copy ONLY that piece that you selected and paste it on a new file
#002 Okay it's not 3D yet. So go to Effects » 3D-effect » Drop shadow and click on OK.
Now you're done in only two steps! When you're finished it looks like this:
