Blend
This is what you can make if you use this tutorial:
Before we start
Before we start i have something to say. I think it is easier if you use this pictures first if you never made a blend before. This is a all-in-one tutorial. It's including effects etc.
Pictures:
#001 I always begin to open a file in Photoshop 800x800. I know it's big but if you have a big file, you have always enough space to make something you want. So start with that and open the pictures a paste them on the empty file.
#002 Now you see there's no blend. It's only one picture above the other right? Now take the eraser tool and click on layer 2. Make sure the master diameter is 65px and erase a piece of the layer so you will get this:
#003 Well, you see there's a blur piece here
and select with the Lasso Tool that blur piece. Tip: It is easier to zoom in. Than you can do the details.
you selected it, now click on delete (LAYER 2!!). Make sure it is layer 2. If you delete layer 1, the first picture is gone.
----------------------------------------------------
You can stop here if you want. Now we're going to the effects!
#004 Jej, okay. Now you've got the blend. We're going to make the effects. Go to Layer » New Adjustment layer » Selective color. Now choose the same settings i did:
#005 Well you did the Selective color but you're not done yet. Make a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) and fill it with dark blue (#1a1f5f). You dont see anything so choose the effect Overlay
now i think it's too dark. Change the opacity to 50%.
#006 Nowthe last thing you have to do is paste this texture over your blend and set it to lighten.
You're done!
