Icon tutorial 01
#001 We start with the icon template above. First you have to open it with photoshop. Then you have to duplicate the layer, and set the second layer to screen.
#002 Now create a new layer and fill it with #0c2f68. Now set it to Overlay.
#003 Now use this icon texture and paste it in your file. Set it to lighten.
#004 Now your icon is done. But if you want the pixel thing you have to do this:
Just select the layer (the one you've duplicated). Now go to Filter » Pixelate » Mosaic and choose Ceel size: 33
Now you're done!
