Retouching
Now you're going to learn how to retouch a picture. This time I was looking for an ugly picture of a celebrity.
This is the picture I have chosen. Lets start!
#001 We're gonna make the skin softer. Sometimes it looks like a doll or plastic when you've done that. When you want to do that you have to use this tool. You have to choose the right brush size and go over the skin of your picture. Now it looks like this. Right?
Tip!: When you notice your picture looks like a plastic doll, you can change the strength!
#002 Now your skin is 'softer' you can change the eyes now. You can change the colour of the eyes or change something else. I dont want to do that. Im want to make her lips red :).
You have to select the lips with the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L). You dont want the teeth red right? So when you selected the lips, you have to press alt and HOLD IT and select the teeth. Now do this: Layer » New adjustment layer » Selective color. Play with the notes untill you have the right colour like this
#003 If you want to make everything lighter you can add some curves. Do you want that? Do this: Layer » New adjustment layer » Curves. You can play with it when the light is right. Now mine is like this
#004 Now you can stop because its ready, but its not. You can play with the selective color to change them. Go to: Layer » New Adjustmens Layer » Selective Color. Play with it like i did. Now mine is like this.
